Probably been watching too much in the way of hospital drama of late, but got me thinking what would be really inappropriate songs a surgeon might play whilst doing an op.

Funny that, a year ago today I had my triple by-pass surgery.
Didn't hear any music, I was out before i went in.

Must admit, I didn't take you for an SPK fan!
I think WHU(Exeter) might be into SPK too; and Cult of Bob (if he still posts)
As you can probably tell, I'm more into pre-Machine Age Voodoo, i.e. up until death of Ne/h/il and Margaret.

I was in hospital having an eye operation under a local anaesthetic on 7 July 2005 when the news of the bombings came on the radio they had playing in the background.
The nurse said "You're a bit tense" and turned the radio up. Not quite what I wanted.

A couple of SPK numbers spring to mind:
Post-Mortem, which opens with the sample "I removed the rectum itself"
No More: opening lyric "I'm a madman amok with a meat cleaver, chop-chop-chopping up all your breeders"
And what i wouldn't want to watch just before going under would include some of the backscreen projections that Butthole Surfers used to use at gigs, including editted highlights of penile reconstructive surgery and sex change operations
